Quite often I get asked "Why should we choose you? Well, I thought I'd dedicate a page to telling you a bit about myself and my business and why you should choose me.

That is the first and foremost point, this is MY business and for me to be successful in my business I need to be a first class personal trainer. Also, not only is this my business but this is my passion and my life. I live for what I do, I truly believe in my principles and I practice what I preach. However, in saying this, I'm am not an absolute fanatic and I believe that there is more to being happy and healthy than just eating well and exercising regularly.

This is my job and it is what I do to make a living but it definately doesn't feel like a job. I can truly say that I love what I do and never do I wake up wishing I didn't have to go to work. Work for me is helping people to be happier, healthier, fitter, stronger, more toned, more confident and to look their best!

More than anything I love seeing clients achieve their goals and it is this that keeps me striving to be the best trainer I can be. To see a client completely transform themselves from someone who was out of shape and unhappy to someone happy, vibrant, fit, toned and confident is a sight I will never get tired of, I love it!

From humble beginnings as a scrawny cross-country runner, I have moulded myself for a lifetime involvement in health and fitness.

I have trained and competed in numerous disciplines. They are:

I have been working out in the gym for about 15 yrs and it was my personal battle for results that inspired me to become a personal trainer. I am not a stereotypical trainer who is a man mountain and who was blessed with great genes. I am the opposite, I started out at 54kg and I have had to work extremely hard to get where I am today, which is 70 kg. Throughout my years of training I have done everything that doesn’t work and tried every useless technique known to man. I was frustrated with so called trainers who did not have a clue how to get results for those of us who it doesn’t come easy to and so I decided I would teach myself. It was through my own personal tuition that I found out how to train safely and effectively, and then when I started to get results my passion for the gym exploded and it became my life. I continue to build on my knowledge through industry affiliations and further training as I believe knowledge is the elixir of life and I strive to stay up to date with new techniques and industry information. I now know exactly what works for all potential clients - no matter what their shape or body type and through a number of contacts/affiliations in the US I am up to date with the latest training techniques which blast away conventional training methods and speed up your transformation to the body of your dreams.

I have now been working as a personal trainer for 8 years and I have been operating Inta-Fitness for 3 yrs. I began as a trainer in a gym in 2001 and from there I worked towards setting up my own studio. I achieved this in May 03 with a small home studio out of my garage in Kew East (as Mobifit) and then in 2006 I set up Inta-Fitness here in High St, Kew. I have been operating here since then. I pride myself on the great results I have achieved for myself and many of my clients and I am as passionate and motivated today as I was the day I first began. Inta-Fitness Personal Trainer Mike Ransfield has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. He has worked world wide for reputable health and fitness establishments such as Les Mills world of fitness New Zealand. Mike has competed nationally and internationally in body building competitions, with several championship titles under his belt. A highly sought after Personal Trainer, Mikes wealth of knowledge in health and fitness and his hands on approach with an attitude of “practice what you preach” is both reflected in his own health and fitness and that of his clients.

My formal training was undertaken in Melbourne through Fitnation.They are a leading RTO (Registered Training Organization) in Victoria and I completed a Certificate 3 and Certificate 4 In Fitness. A Certificate 4 is what is needed to register as a Personal Trainer. Those who hold only a Certificate 3 can only register as a Fitness Instructor such as those you see at the your local gym.
