We have a background in boxing and kickboxing and we use my skills in this area to improve my personal training services.
We like to include boxing/kickboxing drills into our sessions as it is a brilliant form of exercise for burning fat, relieving stress and making you feel empowered. Just picture the boss or that annoying co-worker and let loose!
We have a 5ft heavy bag and wealso use focus mitts (small hand pads that you punch or kick). We use these to give you great workout and get your heart rate up nice and high. You will punch hard, kick hard and sweat lots and you'll love it (well, most do)!
Don't worry though, if it's not something that interests you then you do not have to do it but nearly everyone that wetrain really enjoys it. As wesaid above, wehave personally been a boxer and kick-boxer and wewill make sure that you use the correct technique to ensure the best workout without causing you any harm. At no time during these drills will you be punching me or vice versa, it is all bag and pad work for the best results and safety. |
